Would you really want ceramic brakes on a diesel, I suppose so but doesn't seem logical to me!
Only if I have 22" wheels

The 19 inch spare is for cars with Ceramic Brakes.
Great information...Thanks! :-)

Isn't it easier just to call Porsche Assist and get them to sort you out? Especially if you have 21" rims, surely can't be safe to drive with one 18" safe wheel! or am I missing something!

Should be safe as the 18 inch spare has the same diameter as the 21inch..much higher profile tyre. They typicaly have a 50mph limit.

A space saver is only any good if you have sufficient room in your car to store the full size wheel that you remove. If you were a family of four going on holiday with a full boot of luggage you will still have to rely on Porsche Assist.

Excellent point !!
If they are both the same diameter/outer circumference in what way does the space saver save space? (I am guessing it has a greater width/more tread???) Does the full size 'normal' wheel not fit into the well below the boot floor then?
