Supply issues with collapsible spare wheel

In my experience they fit the hole...but raise the floor! :-/
Luckily I've never hit Marks 'Worst Case Scenario'...but if it happened I'd pop the wheel in an oversize binbag (I always carry some) and let the kids cuddle it on the back seat! :-D

My eldest is pushing me towards the RS Spyders...so he can nurse it!! :-D

Isn't it easier just to call Porsche Assist and get them to sort you out? Especially if you have 21" rims, surely can't be safe to drive with one 18" safe wheel! or am I missing something!

if the can of goo doesn't work you have to be towed to a garage. If it's snowing, it can take 8 hours for them to get you a tow truck as opposed to just a regular breakdown assist truck. This is what happened to me hence wanting a spare so I can change the wheel and drive to the garage. tallet2014-08-15 09:29:59

We came back to a message several months later that ours is finally in too..... I said I'd collect but told it had to go into teh car so it could be signed off! Wanted to give E-Type a run, even that needs booking in - all frustrating for a bloody spare wheel that's going to get dumped in the boot.

They were insistent to fit ours too which was fine all done now cars complete, have the goo and a tyre so can choose which to use.

Still space around the wheel for small stuff.
