Is that the 22241-1 spec as shown on the fuel filler flap / video?

On their web site it just lists the 22241 spec:

my research has suggested the -1 is only referring to a test on the adbue, brought in after the first introduction (check out adblue for you)

regards quantity I regularly use 10lts per 10/12000 miles, so if filled fully at service will be good until next service.

Given the chat on here i popped into a local Audi dealers and picked up 2 x 10ltr Adblue (22241-1 spec) containers.
They come with filling spouts and was pretty easy to put in with no spillage.
Car took both bottles so could have taken more i guess.
£30 for peace of mind

As a comparison we now pay 60p per litre of AdBlu buying 205 litre drums.

Good markup at the dealers.

SAC1 wrote: Thu Jul 19, 2018 3:58 pm It needs to be 22241-1 spec and not just 2224. You can see this detail on the inside of the fuel filler flap.
I went looking in Halfords for Adblue today. Because their product stated compliance with ISO 22241, I didn't buy it but instead ordered from Amazon. However, after placing the order I did a bit of research (I know, not the right way round) and found the following description on the ISO website.

ISO 22241 consists of the following parts, under the general title Diesel engines — NOx reduction agent AUS 32:
— Part 1: Quality requirements
— Part 2: Test methods
The following parts are under preparation:
— Part 3: Packaging, transportation and storage
— Part 4: Refilling interface
Annexes A, B and C are for information only.

So it's reasonable to assume that a product claiming compliance with ISO 22241 will comply with ISO 22241-1 and ISO 22241-2.

In the end, the Adblue ordered via Amazon is only 24p (for 10L) more expensive that Halfords and will be delivered to my door. It will cost less than a return trip to Halfords.

That's interesting On-Track.

I took mine to my OPC for peace of mind and they did the job from arriving to leaving the dealership in just 15 minutes for £42 inc VAT. Barely enough time to avail myself of a coffee & cake and then to pay! :) :D
