Here's the quotes that I received:
Admiral £627.33
NFU £450.41
Esure £392.32
LV+ £340.32
There were dearer and cheaper ones, but from companies that did not resonate with me.
Insurance is a mind-field and all I can say is that it pays to extensively shop around every year to find the best cover and premium.
Insurance 30% hike...
I think the LV site is very slick - it even auto-populates your driving licence number (apart from the last few digits which you input to validate.) Seemingly very clever, but actually only your surname and date of birth......!

...as long as the prices then come down proportionately in the good years....

As an old git, I pay £389 fully comp, protected ncd, legal costs and some other stuff with LV. As mentioned, their website is good and so are their prices. Big company too not some unheard of entity that may disappear. Oddly enough, a few years ago John Lewis insurance was cheaper than LV for my then car, BME435i, with a sister company of LV. Odd industry insurance.
Dolomite Silver 'S' with red leather 14 way seats, Pano roof, Bose, Air suspension with pasm, Chrono pack, PDLS, Surround view, 911 turbo wheels, heated screen, spare wheel, ioniser,75 lt tank, black tail pipes, black roof rails.
Yes I had about 30% increase with Saga and when queried through their broker, could get little or no improvement.
Gave NFU a try, and whilst its a bit of a fag going through the process in a 20 min. phone call, the saving of about £120 over Saga was well worth the try.
Interestingly, managed to get a very good price from Saga for the Z4, by accessing them twice simultaneously, via Confused.com and taking the lower of the two offers, both were vastly cheaper than the Saga renewal quote.
