Just a thought re tyres...

The FL features a newly and specially designed tyre. German regs have now outlawed All Seasons so presumably all new vehicles will be shipped with summers - or will they be winters if delivered during the relevant period. So, unless buyers are given to risking one specific set throughout the year they would HAVE to buy a second set thus adding £££s to the bottom line.

They are not yet 'outlawed'. There's a quick guide to the changes here: https://www.vicarious-shop.com/blogs/vi ... ary-1-2018

In summary, all-season (AS or M&S) tyres are will no longer be deemed as suitable winter tyres, but exceptions are in place until September 30, 2024 for tyres purchased before January 1, 2018.

You can actually use whatever tyres you like all year round in Germany, as long as you don't drive in 'wintery conditions'. I have met many Germans who never bother with winter tyres!
