For some, a rear wiper on a Cayman (or 911) is anathema and for others it's essential. Whichever camp you fall into they are an eyesore on such a beautiful car.

Hi Gonz ... yes it was a very track focused build. I did struggle with the seats a bit so did my partner, but for the track I guess you need then , loved the manual transmission. I’m not sure if you need the pcb for the road either! I love the GTS interior pack but I’m not convinced you would get your money back, my cayman that was on order prior to me finding this one , I didn’t spec it , I also changed the steering wheel to leather. So far all is well seatbelt knock fixed,so much more better in the wet than I thought, good mpg, think the Bose could be better, enjoy yours 😊
Macan GTS.Vol/ grey turbo 21s, Bose, Panroof, heated seats and steering wheel, 18 way , red belts, LEDs, light comf mem, privacy , compass, 18 spare wheel, aluminium inserts, auto dim mirrors, smoked,r/rails,p/assi. CAYMAN GTS now 😊

+1. I think the rear wiper on a 911 looks like what Prince Charles would call a monstrous carbuncle! :P

I asked my instructor at PEC on Saturday about PCCBs, as my Carrera T had them. He said in fact that many who track their cars prefer to run steel brakes to PCCBs, and that carbon ceramic brakes actually make more sense for a road car (rarely tracked) as long as you plan to keep the car for a long time. :geek:

And for a track car, PDK is quicker than manual and therefore preferred by many track rats. :)

My main draw to PCCBs is the lack of brake dust....is that worth 5k....to me yes.

Each to their own. I would only get PCCBs for a track car and wouldn’t pay that sort of money for lack of brake dust. Others would plainly decide otherwise

Carbuncle or eyesore, and yet I always wished I had on mine; anything under xxx mph and you could see nothing out of the rear window (especially first thing in the mornings)

I actually don’t mind it ... I was persuaded not to add it to spec. I’m Just happy to have a cayman 8-)
