The base price is bound to increase by the cost of PDK at least as find it hard to believe that Porsche are going to swallow the cost of it at a minimum of £2k a pop

I would have thought that an automatic box, and certainly Porsche’s complex PDK is a pretty complicated bit of kit and more expensive to manufacture than a manual gearbox?

Its certainly got 2 clutches....so it must cost more

LOL! I’m no engineer, but I bet that the cost to Porsche of a PDK is (quite a bit) greater than a manual gearbox ( be that a 6-speed in a 718 or a 7-speed in a 911 ).
