The different feel that is. Always worth that few Grand more. BTW a quick run through the config on a 2.0 finished at £60,750.
UK price difference on outgoing models was only £2300!! I don’t get that when a 6 pot BMW 340i is £5300 more than 4 pot 330i.
So order a 2.0 Macan and you only have to add a wheel upgrade, sports seats and metallic and you’re way over the price of a 6 pot S already. Gotta be better to have a modestly specced S than a highly specced 4 pot. That said, if you just don’t need the extra power, the 2.0 still has rock solid build quality & residuals!

I reckon the forthcoming S will cost from circa £48,750...

Edit: not a bad guess, I’ve just read the rest of the thread and apparently it’s been confirmed by a dealer at £48,735... so at less than £2.5k premium over the 2.0L it really would be silly not to get the S wouldn’t it!?

The 2.0 litre still LOOKS like a Macan which is all a number of buyers want and have no interest in the extra power or refinement of the 3.0 car.

For me though the extra for the 6 pot is an easy choice and a total no brainer. That said I wouldn’t buy an S either as waiting for a new GTS is an equal no brainer for me.

I wonder whether the one dealer that quoted £48,735 as the price for the facelift S actually knows, or was purely speculating based on the differential between the old base and S models.

Exactly - absolute no brainer to go for the S and the residuals will be better on the 3.0.

Yes personally I think it’s just a guess as I doubt whether even Porsche have finalised the price yet!!

£48735

Available to via confuserator December.

Option prices presumably the same as the 2l.
Thanks DD, this aligns with my dealer saying 'S' build in Feb, delivery in Apr19.

Macan facelift reveal last night in Bucharest:
Alas, they'll only be in dealerships starting next month.
