In terms of the new model I noted the PCM is new and I think LED headlamps are standard. The price rise of £400 seems modest. But the performance and fuel consumption don’t seem to have significantly changed. Cosmetic changes seem minimal.

Overall, like others, I am somewhat underwhelmed by the facelift, and disappointingly feel no compelling case to trade up my existing 2 litre.
I would be interested in seeing what you have included in the £52.5k

My minimum spec
PASM
PS+
Headlight upgrade
Seat upgrade
Spare wheel
RevCam

£52.5k

Macan Turbo
Air, 20” wheels, ACC, Pano, SurCam, 14w, LEDs, PS+, Int Light Pack, Heated seats and Steering, spare wheel, SC, Privacy glass, PDK gear, SD mirrors, Met Black, rear airbags

What’s the guessing on price differentials between 2.0 and 3.0 S. About £4K? The old 2.0 is a decent drive but the difference would always niggle me. The different feel that is. Always worth that few Grand more. BTW a quick run through the config on a 2.0 finished at £60,750.
Macan SD Vocano Grey. LEDs, Pano Roof, PSE, Sports Chrono, PASM, Sports Design Mirrors, 21" Sports Classics in Black, lots of other extras.

I’d choose a similar spec (although I wouldn’t upgrade the now standard LEDs). See http://www.porsche-code.com/PK6ND664

I know this has been done to death, but if it was a case of just speccing up the car and hanging the cost, this would be mine:

Obviously, I'd like to transfer the cost and spec across to a 3 litre or 3 litre hybrid or something like that in the Macan!

My SE phoned this morning (I was sat in a cafe in Paris 😎) to tell me that U.K. base price for the S will be...

£48735

Available to via confuserator December.

Option prices presumably the same as the 2l.

Hi Mike. If that’s correct, it’s a no brainer to go for a 3.0 Macan S.

The 2.0 is £46,344. That’s only £2,391 to upgrade from a 4-cylinder 2.0 to a 6-cylinder 3.0! Bargain!

Only complication would be if the S has ridiculously long wait times ( as has been the case in the past ).

Enjoy the rest of your holiday. 🇫🇷

Cheers! 🍷

P.S. Just specced up a Macan as close as I could to the one that I ordered 3 years ago.

Silver, 21” Sport Classic wheels, 18-way seats, black tail pipes, heated front seats, heated steering wheel. £52,633. So from memory, about £2.5k more than I paid 3 years ago. And probably nearly all of that extra cost would’ve been what I would have paid 3 years ago for LED lights, had I specced them. So in reality, negligible increase in price over 3 years.

Waiting list? Hence the placing of a token deposit via which I’ve already got a PEC invite. 😃 😈

As you specced and bought a 2 Ltd, Simon, do you recall whether the option prices differed at all?

And thanks. Enjoying resting after the all the ballyhoo of the last week and the weekend. Nice to chill but Paris was absolutely manic.

Hi Mike.

I didn’t notice much difference in the price of options over 3 years. Just increased roughly in line with inflation I’d guess.

Au revoir.
