Cartridges and black powder were also important factors for me!

I have found NFU to be consistently one of the most expensive insurers over the last 7 years on a variety of cars including my Macan. Also with higher excess sums, despite living in a low risk rural area.
I've used LV+ for the past few years - great cover (no tracker required) and very competitive premiums on both our current cars.

The vagaries of insurance companies are unfathomable.
Our youngest has just left home (hooray!)
He informed his current insurers of his new address and received a £100 odd refund (on a £600 premium) We live in a “nice” rural area, he now lives in a “town” environment..... I dont pretend to understand....

More cars less odds of his being stolen?? No idea, but hope he feels special that an insurer has actually given money rather than take itPaul wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 7:26 pm The vagaries of insurance companies are unfathomable.

Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 (3 litre, 367bhp) - in the end I went for that rather than a Macan S - sorry!

My Macan S has a £1600 theft excess with NFU.Kasfranks99 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 6:51 pm
The theft Xs of £1600 has been there for a few years. It does not apply to the S Macan.
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

I’ve found LV competitive at £278 (max NCD, protected NCD, hire car, £500 excess, rural area).

Interesting. 2 years ago there wasn’t on a S or SD when I enquired.andreas wrote: ↑Sun Oct 28, 2018 1:59 pmMy Macan S has a £1600 theft excess with NFU.Kasfranks99 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 27, 2018 6:51 pm

On the GTS there was and still is.
Could have changed since then on the S / SD and may depend on which NFU / location used?
Others I know that have NFU with S / SD did not have this Xs. Wonder if NFU have introduced this across the whole Macan range in the last year or so?
