Be interesting to see how this develops as the weeks go by without any new car -> part exchanges releasing second hand cars into the system.
Interesting figures in your table Ray.

I noticed that you didn’t include demo vehicles, of which there are a substantial number floating around, particularly of the base Macan i.e. 57 used + 45 demo giving 102 total

I guess these demo vehicles end up on the forecourt at some stage.

They will, and at vastly extortionate prices as they'll all be loaded with £10k+ of options

Absolutely, Simon. A 2016 petrol S. Like hen’s teeth! And well-specced as well 🤗. Currently just 6 of any age showing on Porsche’s list. And none from 2016! :D :D :D
You made a very wise selection, Mike. :) And worth the (quite lengthy) wait! :D

P.S. How many miles covered in your roughly 2.5 years of ownership so far? :geek:

About 23-24K. I bit more than anticipated but two euro trips this year 8-) so the miles have gone on. It should slow down a bit now winter is with us.

Indeed. Looking at asking prices, GT3s are still handsomely appreciating assets.

On a recent visit to my OPC, what did they have most of? Yes, GT models!

In the showroom a 991.2 GT3 (in GT Silver), a 991.2 GT3 with Touring Pack in Crayon/Chalk, a 991.2 GT2 RS (silver) and a purple 991.1 GT3 RS.

With so many GT cars for sale around the country, let’s hope that they start to get more affordable for genuine enthusiasts. :geek:

Yes wing, it is sad that most GT3s are sold to people who wont dare drive them at anything like the cars capability, just sit them in the garage before selling them on when the next one becomes available

PS, took the GTS out for a run yesterday with the temp at 5 although dry and sunny. Grip on the summers certainly got my attention untill they got warmed up a bit. Your winters will be in their element these days

Hi Rab,

Yep, the winters came into their own over the weekend, with temperatures sub-seven degrees, plus quite a lot of rain around.

The winters felt reassuringly secure. Can’t say that I noticed much difference in road noise or ride comfort (being on 19”s rather than 20”s) but those qualities were not the point of the exercise.

Cheers,

Simon
