Esso Super Plus, Total Excellium and BP Ultimate are 97 RON whereas Shell V-Power is 99. Surprisingly, Tesco Momentum is also 99 RON but Tesco may use more ethanol which may affect the calibration sensors that fine-tune the engine.wizzzard wrote: ↑Sat Nov 24, 2018 11:52 pmThat Tesco fuel got me too.... two Porsche garages that I have been to now that use Tesco to fill up. My local East London garage has the choice of a BP, Sainsbury’s, Asda and Tesco and they always go to Tesco.Paul wrote:[emoji33]
Tesco fuel....you’ll have the Shell V-Power police after you[emoji23][emoji23]
Seriously - enjoy the GTS! Model of choice for those in the know[emoji6]
The garage I bought the GTS from said they always use Tesco too! Well, if it’s good enough for a GT3 911, who am I to argue.
And thank you... can’t quite wipe the smile off of my face....

If you can convince yourself that Porsche fill up with the really expensive stuff all the time at Tescos, and cost does not influence the decision, then well done them.
I would suggest that, if you go to Tescos, at least fill up with the expensive stuff.
