Names and reasons behind the name please...

My last car (S3) was called Hawky. The last three letters on the plate were HWK and my niece (5) kept calling it Hawky and the name stuck. Before that, I had a C-Class coupe called Henry (wife chose that one...).

Our is called "Oof", which is quite fitting we think as it's a big car. :-)
OOF were the last three letters on our previous Macan SD's registration plate.
Our stable:
- 992 Carrera T - manual - Ruby Star Neo - Carrera Excl. wheels (2023)
- BMW 240i xDrive (G42) - Portimao Blue - AC Schnitzer tune
ex: 981 Cayman GTS, Macan S Diesl, Macan Turbo, 991.2 Carrera S, 718 Cayman GTS, i30 N, 718 Cayman GTS 4.0

Just call ours the green car; luckily we don't have any two cars of the same colour.

"Otto 2." Previous Macan was "Otto." Just a German name and it looked a bit like a baby hippo, so full name, "Otto the baby hippo."
Previous was "Darth Florence." Darth because all black, and Florence because the first time I ever saw an R8 I thought Florence was a good name for it.
Previous was "Rosie the RS4."
Previous was a more generic "Herman the German" (another Audi).

Other random named cars I've had:

"Efalump" - Chevy Traverse LT.
"Gerbil" - a curtesy Audi A4
"Uber Gerbil" - a curtesy Audi A6
"Mini Efalump" - Kia Rio
"Louie" - Bimmer 118d rental

Basically, I name all my cars. Even ones I have very briefly.
Used to have 2016 Macan Turbo PHCKCL70
Previously a 2014 Macan Turbo.
Now a 2021 Tesla Model 3 LR
