Worth a read. And explains why the lack of 20s. Seems quite a deal has gone on beneath the surface and with new tyres the ride on 21s would appear to be smoother than before.
Also interesting is the comparison with the 4 pot which seemingly performs very well being lighter and more agile. And now Macan 2 is much more Audi than before there’s maybe less validity for the not-a-Porsche argument.

"Owing to its Audi-designed platform, the engine in a Macan is located almost entirely ahead of the front axle. The inline-four weighs less than the V6. In the base car, the steering is noticeably lighter, and the car feels more eager to change direction. It feels a lot more tall hot-hatch to the V6's luxury sports-sedan"
AND.... CAR's online review (posted today) say the 4 pot sounds better than the V6 too
I just looked at a similar spec to my year-old S, and it came up at around £1000 more than I paid, which is less than I'd expected. But I'm not too keen on the new wheel options. I like bright wheels on a dark car, and my 20" SportDesign wheels have to be the easiest wheels to clean!GMAN75 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:33 am I'm at £68k without even batting an eyelid. I simply replicated my existing S (I did add the Crayon and Miami Blue colour schemes though. They're the mutt's nutts). But...given I have a 2018 model with only 2,500 on the clock at the moment, I think I'll let someone else be the guinea pig...especially given the new particulate filters!
Macan S collected 4 Dec 2017 - Jet Black, 20" SportDesign, Agate/Pebble, 18-way, Pano roof, Bi-Xenons with PDLS, Surround View, PASM, PS+, spare wheel, towbar.

Just specced a S up at £71k ,
Porsche know how to bleed buyers ,why is Crayon £1671 on a Macan but nearly £2k on a 911,there’s lots of comparisons with options between the Macan and 911 and there’s always a bigger cost to the 911 purchasers.
Must think 911 buyers have more money to extract from them.
