Is anyone else getting these really irritating Amazon videos popping up when using an iPad to view the forum? I use an ad-blocker, cleared caches, re-booted, still keep getting them. I’m used to the totally irrelevant in line ads, but these are insufferable!

We don't pay anything for Forum membership, so if the owners can make some money from running ads, Good for them! It's really not that difficult to ignore or minimise the ads.

Try another blocking App

I get zero adds here.

I have Blokr, Adblock and Adblock + on my iPad so between them I only get adds on Facebook.

As I said, I don’t have a problem with the in line ads, although they seem to be poorly targeted in general & get ignored.l. I keep getting a little video screen pop up that covers part of the post I am reading and has the ‘close’ x hidden making it a sod to remove sometimes. And it comes up every time I open another post. Just trying to find out if it is specific to me, ipads or whatever.

I do not get anything with the adblockers that I mentioned.

You need to install other adblockers if you truly wish to remove the adds.

I don't get any video ads and I don't use any adblockers.

Mostly using the Chrome browser on my iPad. Have you tried another browser?

I know the ones you mean. On the iPad I use 1BlockerX and Crystal and get no ads of any kind, thankfully.

I use Safari as the browser.
