We did a similar deal on our Macan GTS ,brilliant motor but that was our second Macan,we purchased a 911 991.2C4S and I cannot get to drive it enough although it in hibernation at the moment until the weather improves ,we have put the £5k deposit down on a new 992 but until I’ve seen and driven one I’m not making a final decision.

I very nearly jumped into a 911 C4S but decided to enjoy the Macan for a bit longer and wait for the 992. However this wait is going to kill me...

How long is the wait? I traded in my 991S for my current Macan Turbo. 18 months

Withdrawal symptoms were agony

My wife was very supportive with words like "Get over yourself" Just no Soul

it's at the airport just now as I'm away for work...was parked for less than one hour and had a text form a friend with a pic of my car sitting nicely in its space!

it really is the first car I have owned that has had universal approval - but my mum said she'd have preferred it if i had got a DB11...I told her the cost, she changed her tune! ha

^^^ Nope, for some reason the modern Astons don’t do it for me, so a 911 with a flat 6 would be my weapon of choice.

A DB5 though...
