In February 2018 I got in the queue for the new Macan S Diesel in Agate Grey and put down a £3,000 deposit. So now - no diesel, and no Agate Grey, so I've had to go for the forthcoming petrol S, and went for Silver. I quite like the Volcano Grey, but it is too dark and would show every mark like black does. But then, so will the silver ! I had thought of going mad and going with the Mamba Green with red leather interior - that would have been something !

I remember reading some years ago that Rowan Atkinson ordered a (dark) green Aston Martin with a red leather interior.
It does come down to the shade of each colour. Dark green and dark red, almost Bordeaux, would look ace.
No, I'm 'locked in' now, having confirmed my spec eight days ago: the order went through to Germany on Monday 17th December. Should get it in March - I can't wait !
