After 18 months and 12,000 miles I have had to change the Pirelli tyres on the GTS. Town driving is obviously hard on wear compared to rolling along a motorway, but I was surprised that I only got 12k miles.
I have switched to Michelin for the replacement - interesting to see if they last any longer.

Our McCann is on over 50,000 miles on the original tyres. SD on AS tyres. Unbelievable!
Macan S D
718 S
718 S
The wear on my AS tyres at nearly 12k miles was negligible when I sold it - I think it was 6.5-7mm all around which would suggest that 50k miles would be achievable

Wow, I bought mine with 17,000 miles on and all the tyres had been renewed. P-zero's all around. Summer tyres so softer compound. Don't know if that makes it ride smoother than AS shod cars.
Dolomite Silver 'S' with red leather 14 way seats, Pano roof, Bose, Air suspension with pasm, Chrono pack, PDLS, Surround view, 911 turbo wheels, heated screen, spare wheel, ioniser,75 lt tank, black tail pipes, black roof rails.
My GTS is on Michelins and I’m just about to change the rears as they’re on 3mm (fronts are happily going on at 4 -5 mm)
Sept ‘16 on 24000 miles so quite pleased (a mix 50 / 50 of motorway and enthusiastic A or B roads)

Don’t winter tyres have softer compound than summers?Cheshire Cat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:38 pm Wow, I bought mine with 17,000 miles on and all the tyres had been renewed. P-zero's all around. Summer tyres so softer compound. Don't know if that makes it ride smoother than AS shod cars.
If so, I imagine AS tyres would also be softer compound than summers?

A lot of people have found their AS tyres very hard-wearing for some reason.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:52 pmDon’t winter tyres have softer compound than summers?Cheshire Cat wrote: ↑Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:38 pm Wow, I bought mine with 17,000 miles on and all the tyres had been renewed.
