Have you tried the PDK reset? You can find the procedure on here if you search but let us know if you can’t find it.

I have not...is it really just that switch off and on...run for 6 mins stuff some people are talking about? There are some more detailed [and more believable] ones online.

Worked for me (the reset bit )

viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8010&hilit=PDK+reset

“Best” test for transfer box is to engage “ off-road” and reverse quite hard on full lock, either lock. Cluncking will confirm transfer box wear.

Awesome - thanks Paul

I'll try the reversing trick next time I'm out of London!

UPDATE - I Emailed a signed letter to the OPC detailing events during and since my Macan purchase making reference to negligent practices resulting in obvious faults not being found during the presale 111 point inspection. I made a reasonable request for compensation along the lines of a free service or a contribution toward the £555.00 paid for my spare wheel kit. I also offered to attend a meeting with the service, sales and branch managers to discus matters. I recieved reply agreeing with the observations in my letter and offering a full refund of my spare wheel kit payment. Hopefully my Macan will be delivered back to me tomorrow with new pan roof seals and transfer box and I can enjoy it trouble free from now on. I've requested copies of both 111 point inspection completion sheets and paperwork for the pan roof seal and transfer box replacement for future reference if required which they've agreed to supply....😊

Sounds like a very good result Rick and I would be inclined to build a positive relationship with your OPC from here as they have been honest enough to admit that they are at fault, have rectified the problems and compensated you appropriately. Sounds like they have done everything right since you took delivery.

On the bright side you should be able to enjoy your Macan now.

Check out Nick Murray's youtube channel the poor guy has had his second 911 go duff with electrical problems. Porsche had to buy back the first and he's even had problems with the loaner Macan he's had
