How Many Miles Has Your Macan Done

My Macan 2.0 is my first Porsche, to assess Macan reliability I'm interested in how many miles other Macans have on the clock verses the type of faults experienced so far.

So far in 3 weeks of ownership I've had the pan roof seals replaced and now it's in for transfer box replacement, both repairs completed under warranty...

Macan SD, Registered Sep 15, now at 21k miles

Faults:

- Transfer box replaced @ 2.5 years and 11.5k miles
- Cracked driver's side B-pillar plastic window trim replaced

Both were known problems and fixed under warranty

Macan SD Registered March 16, now at 44.5k miles

Faults

Transfer Box at 2.5 years and 39k
Window switch broke recently

Both replaced under warranty.

GTS purchased March 18.
6,500 miles.
Engine failed after 2 weeks and needed replacing.

Other than that minor issue no other problems to note (other than App CarPlay occasionally refusing to connect).

Macan DS 05/15 and as of yesterday 20100 miles

In last 12 months
New pdk box - due to oil leak
Camera for ACC - replaced due to failure
Power Steering mechanism replaced - due to power steering failure
Pano roof cassette mechanism replaced - due to water leak

My first Macan SD May 2015 to May 2016 - 8000 miles and had no faults
My second Macan SD May 2016 to Mar 2018 23000miles and had no faults for first two years and then had to regen dpf fairly regularly following DME software “upgrade “ .
Third Macan SD now at 6600 miles. Had to regen dpf regularly and car went into limp mode once but been fine since December following latest DME upgrade. Bonnet had to be adjusted due to rattles but fine since adjustments carried out at one month old.

Air suspension failure January 2019, 30.000 miles, compressor changed under warranty.

MACAN S 08/2015 36800 miles

FAULTS
Leak in passenger side.
Head Light Washer not working - picked up by OPC at first service.
Wheel Center caps corroded.

All fixed under warranty without question.

Next service due August - not looking forward to that as brakes might need attention
