Quattro is just a audi brand these days and the actual AWD system comes from haldexSwiss Tony wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2019 1:17 pm Col, i cannot believe any Macan could keep up with an RS Audi so i put that firmly in the poor driver category. I have driven many S and RS models and they really do stick to the road like glue in all weather conditions. I would also be surprised if the Porsche 4WD is on a par with the Quattro as again i have never had an issue whether in snow, ice, floods or other horrendous conditions. Would clearly be delighted if it is.
I believe the Macan uses the same system as the Carrera 4s which is also a haldex system?
It comes down to which flavor of haldex system they used if it’s front wheel biased and sends the power to the rears if it’s losing traction or rear wheel biased with the remaining power to the fronts. The cayenne had a menu you could bring up that told you how the power was distributed
