Sorry for all the new Posts, just loving the GTS as I only collected yesterday,

Coming from an RS4 recently I had the same issues with the Exhaust tips, they are Black Chrome as standard but if not looked after they will Pit,Fade & discolour very quickly.
I would say my Cars previous owner did not touch them.
I could moan at Porsche to replace under warranty but I decided to remove all 4 tips this afternoon which is 1 Torx 30 Bit on each - easy really.
I Used some elbow and Auto Glyn Metal polish, they have come up great- really pleased
Still see some Pitting on the lacquer but worlds apart from this morning.

Thought I would share that's all ;)

Yes, a common complaint for GTS owners....☹️

The problem with too much enthusiasm with the auto glym polish is that the tips loose their “blackness” and end up closer to chrome silver.

I’ve had 2 sets so far but agreed with my dealership that there’s no point in swapping them again as there is no change to the costing they use. They agree it’s a “ common” complaint....

Does anyone know of a way to reduce or stop the pitting? I give mine a wipe after every outing, but noticed they're still pitting. Thought about touching them up, but don't want to make them look worse! I presume it's not just a GTS problem, but any car with the black tips.

Good job! If the black fades, one can make it look ‘titanium-like’

The black tips on my 911 seem ok after 12 months and 7.7k miles.

I'm on my second replacement set now, they seem to deteriorate more quickly over the winter

Yes, it’s any Macan that has black tips, also had one set replaced under warranty but the second set started failing just as quickly. I found the only way to slow down the deterioration is to soak with wheel cleaner, wash off thoroughly, finish
with a non abrasive cream cleaner and soft microfibre cloth. Not yet seen any used Macan’s in OPC showrooms that aren’t showing pitting. :( exhaust tips for other models, such as 911 are a different design and don’t seem to share the same problem.
