Thanks but I have seen all that, this is a generic outline of all the services that are potentially available, however some countries restrict certain functions. I am hoping someone can tell me if or not they can lock/unlock their new Macan 2 remotely or indeed a Macan 1.

The app tells me if my car is locked or not, but it won't allow me to change that. This is for my 911. I wouldn't have thought that this function is car specific though.

The App functions I had on my 1st SD or my current GTS were visibility only of locked status.

The “active” functions were sounding the horn and folding the mirrors.

I have never used this on my car to be honest didn't even know it was available? Does the OPC need to activate it on the car?

Yes. You register here - https://pcc.vodafonetelematics.com/cwp/ ... anguage=en. You will receive an 8 digit code which you supply to your dealer who can then activate PCC for you.

This should have been offered by your OPC before collection, assuming you bought new.

Hi ... Yes I did buy new but was never offered this by the OPC. Does the OPC need the car to activate it or is it done remotely?

Not sure on that, give your OPC a call. Let us know how you get on.

I brought mine from Tonbridge Wells as approved used - was given a free 1 year service - was told it is standard for all approved used if your car is compatible.

Forgive me if I'm wrong but isnt it a pretty pointless app? My service expired on the anniversary and didnt think it was worth renewing for £100 for a year, particularly as I never used it.
