Ive got a demo S at the mo. With BOSE.. the bass at low volume is causing a vibration / boom on the drivers side dash / door .. I find it very distracting .. infact I cant listen to it so I am driving around with the hi fi off The audio settings are very limited bass and treble levels only.
Please tell me its not a feature and there is a problem with this car .. maybe something loose behind the dash vibrating.. if so poor quality in a 60k car...

No such problem in mine. There have been one or two reported problems in the past with faulty speakers.

Many, many years ago, I was a mobile DJ, and as such love my music. I have Bose, which I spec'ed on my Mac'. There are no problems whatsoever. In fact people have commented how great the sound system is. So all I can say is don't let a faulty system, put you off from having one.
I have Bose in my new S. In my opinion it is not as good as HK in my beemer, but sufficient for my use.
If you are a music coneseur there is another high-end option on the configurator.
