Just looking at the parts catalogue, the glass isn’t available on its own - it’s a complete moulding including the exterior trim (black in my case) which looks like it requires the interior trim to be removed to be fitted. The US sites are about $550 which correlates to the £420 odd I was quoted by the OPC.

A windscreen, fitted with the 4 wheel alignment and camera calibration is only £1200 - so that does sound a bit steep for a rear quarter window.

Porsche Brooklands (which is an official service and used centre, but doesn’t sell new) has quoted £779 so I think I will be going there.

Somewhat surprised that you can lock the keys in the car, Normally they don't lock............. worrying.............

That may be the case if you have keyless entry.

I would have put the spare key in a taxi to get it to you at the circuit. Not cheap I'm but a lot less than replacing a broken window.
