So far drove in my new 2 L Macan about 400 miles and FYI the combined MPG inside London and motorway driving is 31 MPG no more. This is by a sensible driving ..I may have pushed it a bit couple of times on the motorways.
I got the 3L S version a few weeks ago. On a 60mile journey, driving normally, I got 29mpg which i was impressed with. On shorter journey of about 10 miles then getting about 22mpg. Whilst not great mpg figures, they are better than i thought would be ... i came from a 2 litre diesel cabriolet and yes i would get 40mpg on a long run but around town would be 30mpg. If i can get 25mpg plus on average then happy for size and performance of car. I think u will end up with a few mpg more but not a lot.
I get around 28 - 29 mpg from my 2016 2.0 Macan (252) with mostly fairly gentle driving. That’s based on actual calculated figures - the mpg reading in the display tells lies!

Just driven from Derbyshire to Scotland about 270 miles. Speeds of 70+ to 2-5 mph(traffic jams) gave indicated 33mpg.
So probably around 30 in real life.

We just did the reverse journey, Scotland to Leicestershire 320 miles, 4 people on board, full boot and 80 mph most of the way other than road works and the trip said 33 mpg. Our average for the return trip was also 33. Pretty good given the speeds and the load on board and the car took it all effortlessly

No regard for speed limits then. Or your three passengers. Driving at that speed 'most of the way' is totally careless. And illegal.gtipirelli wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:57 pm Scotland to Leicestershire 320 miles, 4 people on board, full boot and 80 mph most of the way

I think diesel's take some beating as yet. 500 to 600 miles per day down to the South Med' Countries. With an average of 44 mpg. Cruise control set at 130 kph. Thant's pushing one tank full.
My GTS gets about 18mpg on short and town journeys, and about 26mpg on longer trips. It's possible to nudge it to 30mpg - but I need to concentrate hard on maxing the economy, being very gentle and taking advantage of coasting as much as I can. All the extra concentration isn't really worth it, and is less pleasant for both me and my passengers.
