Our SA gave us a data sim which we put in the slot behind the flap.

virgin mobile data only card with unused data rolled over, £8 month, yearly contract, for 8 GB, plenty!

My iPad shares my phone data package using an extra SIM card & apparently I can have another one to put in the car. Can anyone tell me if have to do anything to get it working & connected or will it work automatically?
The embedded SIM has disappeared from the list of data options which seems to have have happened when the data package ran out, is that normal?
