Happy to take a £3k depodit now on either though.....
That was also my understanding..... (and I’ve dropped my £3K....😳)

Does anyone have an idea of the price the turbo will be and will it have a few variants?

GTS for 09/20 (blimey - a long way off!)

But I’m already “only” 5th or 6th on the list, although 3 or 4 in front are Turbo or GTS, so I’m probably second or third for a GTS

Funny how the original Macan was launched with S and Turbo models. Then the base 2.0 model arrived later - albeit on 'special order only' which I always inferred was because Porsche was slightly embarrassed by it. However, for the refreshed model Porsche focussed on releasing the base model first - the very model that had only been special order before.

I do wonder if the refreshed performance models (Turbo and GTS) will be released too near the all-new series 2 model for my liking. Is that not expected to be shown late next year?
Current - Macan III GTS
Previous - Macan II GTS, Macan I GTS

Originally the SD was the one pushed by Porsche, it was on a much shorter wait than the S which was in the long to are you serious category.

Dieselgate screwed up the plans for the Macan and other models followed by ditching the oil burner.

The base 2.0 filled a gap in the UK market for a Town focussed Macan and in certain worldwide markets any car over 2.0 is very and I mean very expensive ie in Singapore a member here paid over £135k for their 2.0 litre base.

My guess is that Macsn 2 will come initially as a full EV and the current facelifted Macan will continue to be produced alongside the Macan EV.
