As a further confusion it asked me if I wanted to search for Filling Stations even though I was 2/3rds full.
Porsche were no help and suggested I book in for an oil change. 20,000 mile first change and 30,000 second change with only 200 mile warning makes no sense. Porsche also drew my attention to outstanding software update which they said was a must do. Over to the DME Update thread for more of that.

I've now had my 2019 Macan S for three weeks and every trip is a joyful event ! But going back to the subject of which oil to use .....................

In the instruction book, on page 98 it says "6-cylinder engines (with particulate filter/engine power up to 294kW/400 hp) - Porsche C20 - SAE 0W-20 oil)

But on the sticker in the engine bay, it says "Porsche recommends Mobil 1." and "Use only SAE 0W-30 and Porsche standard C30 oil."

So, which is correct - SAE 0W-20 or SAE 0W-30 oil ? Or are both just as suitable ?

If it’s just a half / 1 litre top-up then it’s not a huge issue, either will do fine.
But is is a bit weird that the advice conflicts....
(My GTS is A40 and 0w40 so not much help I’m afraid)
1st Sapphire SD
2nd Sapphire GTS

Nobody have any comments on my SD wanting an oil change at 30,000 miles. That s 10,000 miles and 7 months since previous service. Also the first warning appeared at 200 miles to go.

irrespective of the service schedule or lights on the dash I change every 10,000 miles, it has become obvious that the so called oil quality monitor does not work as recently changed (not able to reset dash) and monitor states oil needs changing
