Nice;

but I have never understood the US affection for brown upholstery in a black car. Used a Toyota Land cruiser in Colorado many years ago, nice motor, black bodywork with a dark coffee coloured interior..........................weird..........

Not just the US, I like to see a contrast between upholstery and paint. And for me the very light opals or very light beiges are too unserviceable, red is a bit of a marmite interior, so caramel or brown is a fair alternative. Personally though I would never have black bodywork but maybe that’s just me...

Just an observation. It’s not long ago that 19” wheels would have been considered massive. For example, when the (much bigger) Volvo XC90 was introduced, it came with 17” wheels as standard, with optional upgrading to 18” wheels. Just interesting to observe how wheel diameters have expanded over the years. (And in the early 90s I upgraded to ‘huge’ aftermarket 15” alloy wheels with low-profile 205/50 tyres on my BMW 316.)

Point well made, Wing!
I am a little disappointed with the aesthetics of my 18”, but when I ride it, I can’t see it anyway [emoji38]
The vehicle is much more comfortable for Mrs P in a passenger seat, so I can cover longer distances when we travel. Also, I have bent too many rims already so this time I selected standard profile.

The wheel arches nowadays are much bigger though, I upgraded my nova alloys to 14" from a cav back in the day,
