Hi all

New member here :) I'm on the look out for a Macan, I started looking at the SD, but as my milage isn't that high, and shorter journeys, I got carried away, and started looking at the petrols, starting at the v6S, then the GTS, my research led me to a Turbo...

Silly question, but what sort of tank range to folk get with the GTS or turbo? just out of curiosity.

Work on the basis if no more than 22mpg and assuming a 75 litre tank you would never want to be in a position to put more than 65 litres in which is approx 14.25 gallons then you’re looking at a realistic range of 313 miles. Doubt I ever achieved that in my GTS which averaged around 20 mpg

Confirmed - my GTS has now covered 26000 at an average of 20 mpg (best 27 and worst 15!)
300 miles is do-able on M-ways where I set the cruise to 85....(kph obviously😉)

Thanks guys :) That's not bad, I'll bet they're hugely enjoyable miles too!

About 22mpg average in my Turbo.

Do take note that the recommended fuel is the more expensive unleaded like V Power.

Low octane can be used but heavy loads and full throttle should be avoided.

My SD has average 36 mpg over 13,000 miles. Lowest 30 and highest 44 mpg.

Best of both worlds - power and economy.

My GTS has averaged 20mpg over its first 7,000 miles. It gets around 26mpg at best on a nice motorway run and 17-20 in poxy London traffic. I have seen it as low as 14 or 15 when in gridlock.
But I absolutely love it.

BTW

In two Macans the MFD display showed 10% more than I actually achieved.

Please bear this in mind.
