I've no idea what I'm doing wrong. My quotes are double these. Over 50, full NCB, no record, secure car port...

Is it Location Location location? Have you tried LV or NFU who both appear to look on Macan favourably?

Yes, postcode makes a big difference.

Secure car port? How is a car port secure? Locked garage helps a lot.

Have you tried adding additional experienced driver/s with clean licence?

So after a bit of shopping about I ended up going with LV £419 I’ve got full no claims I’m 44 and live within the m25 so all in all I’m pretty happy with that. They also done me a good deal on the house insurance!!

£389.00 with LV fully comp, protected no claims and Legal expenses. Without the PNC and Legal it would have been £325. I am old though  .

I’ve just done the Macan with LV for £409, before I did that I called Aviva (my current insurer (past 4/5 years)) and they quoted me £585 and that was without a courtesy car. You would think that all these companies must have the same algorithms and their price might vary slightly depending on what discounts they give for this or that but with such a massive difference i must conclude that they don’t all have the same algorithms!
