I've got one too, bought in 2017 before the prices went silly. I also have a GMT2 BLNR, worn once and currently 14k on Watchfinder. :D
I have the same watch..... value is crazy
Its amazing how many of us have the same watch, I bought mine in 2016, stock watch at local dealer. You can't get any of these sports steel watches any where in the world now, I check in every country I visit!
I bought a stainless steel Rolex Daytona back in 2014 and the prices of those have gone silly since then. As arif says, the stainless rolex’s Are mega rare these days which is nice. I paid slightly over list and they have now close to doubled. Will never part with it though - ever

I wouldn't use Watchfinder prices as a guide on value. They low ball sellers and high ball buyers, on a level that is frankly absurd.

I sold a Hulk last weekend for 10k cash, bloke brought a bag on money to our house. Crazy. Bought in 2016 for list, about 6k. Watchfinder bid 8.2k. They list them over 11k and 12k. Lol.

We have a BLNR too, worth 12k on a good day on a good watch forum.

But yes, values are nuts on stainless steel Rolexes.

I find it pays to try a number of different dealers when it comes to getting a decent p/x price. Just been offered px value of £45,000 on my 14 month old 8,500 mile Macan SD against a lightly discounted 2.0 Macan or a heavily discounted 718. I’m always up for a deal if the price to change is right.

I was offered £13,500 part ex for my 330d M Sport touring by the OPC - just collected a Macan S. We buy any car offered £14,500. Autotrader valued it £16,750 and sold through them at £16,500 in one week. Gives you an idea of the spread.

What was the cost of your current SD.

Hitman999 wrote: Thu Jun 13, 2019 9:17 pm Yes trade in prices are silly at dealers. Still you could be trading in a Mercedes or BMW which is even worse. I am going to keep my car for now as don't really fancy anything else apart from a 992 911 but my budget doesn't stretch that far.
I think this is party incorrect. I was offered a top top spec x3 unregistered brand new m40i which despite what most people say is a competitor to the Macan S or GTS. Especially now that the new S engine is probably a bit dull sounding.

Not up there with build quality but with all the goodies and more than what you would have on a 65k+ madam it came to 47.9k with service pack included. So depreciation should be calculated from the 47.9k and final gfv was quoted at 25k after 3 years. So 52% retained value and 22.9k lost over 36 months. So not that much different than a good case on a well specced Macan these days.

Mine was a zero miles pre reg SD with a nice spec ie Volcano, pan roof, 21” gloss black sports classics and much more. Also got a good px on my almost 3 year old SD. I was lucky at the time and this was a pretty rare occurrence. I tried hard but could not get such a deal anywhere else.

That must hurt, wow. To be honest I've always been dead against having a car on finance, or PCP. But a friend of mine who's well into Porsche's and deals a bit, made a good argument for it, because of the monsterous depreciation of the cars in the first few years, especially now in this financial climate.
