Now at 2 months my S is everything and more than expected, but only niggles to date.

Very noisey lock when opening boot, and heavy condensation in front nearside indicator lens, slight fan drone sound in cabin, even with all ventilation off !! Anyone have similar niggles , or something else !!! :!: :!: :!:

Boot lock is a bit noisier than expected (same on two Macans).

Condensation as you describe has been reported a few times previously.

Vent system on Facelifted Macan is a bit different to previous which for me is not the best I have had. There is an odd quirk that can happen but it very much depends upon atmospheric conditions of temperature and humidity in that the car can very suddenly mist up, so it will be interesting to hear of any such an issue with the Facelifted cars.

The boot release is noisy. Condensation can appear in any of the lamp lenses and is not normally a defect. It’s mentioned in the manual and usually clears up by itself. Keep the ventilation system set at the temperature of your choice, AC on and the system set to Auto. Forbid anyone, including yourself from fiddling with it at any time.

I've had comments from pals (JLR workers as it happens), that my boot release sounds broken! It's much louder than our Q5 admittedly.

I also don't understand why the boot opens with that heavy clunk - I suspect it's a design issue i.e. it is made that way but why?
