When the macan S has the rear vision camera installed does this replace the function of the passengers mirror to tilt to show the nearside rear wheel/kerb, or am I missing something?

Hi

I have surround view, but I’m guessing it’s the same with reverse camera only. My dipping mirror works as well.

Cheers,

I think the dipping passenger mirror is a feature of the memory package.

All,

I have the memory package but when I go into settings I don't have the option to select mirror tilt function, unless it is under something obscure.

Believe it works automatically when reverse is selected. However, you need to adjust the mirror when in reverse to the required angle the first time you do it and the memory pack remembers the selected angle for the future. It returns back to the normal angle when you put the car back into drive

I have rear cam and memory seats and I had to set the mirror to tilt by using the mirror adjustment buttons in a certain sequence, I found this in google, once done you never have to do it again.
Mine is a 2017 and it definitely works once set. You have to do this with both keys and it is possible to set the amount of tilt differently for each key.
