The car is 10 weeks old, it happened in the Golf Club car park (two door Mercedes) it's the smallest of dents, circular, about 15mm x 3mm, centre door panel 11cm beneath the door handle, it did not break the paintwork.

Have any of you had any experience with PDR and specifically do you know if there is anything the other side (inside) of that dent that would prevent them getting at it?

I am decided that if PDR is not possible I will live with it rather than get the doors re-sprayed.

I had one in a similar place, just below the door handle. My fault, ughhh. Opened my door onto the outside tap, (parking too close).
Took it to a local guy who made a fantastic job on the top of the wing on my 968. Did the same on the Mac'. If you pick one local with some good recomendations, better than a respray everyday.

Is my car double glazed?

I have been asked this question by a PDR operator.

^^^ Only if the optional insulated glass was specced.

Edit: Actually the insulated glass is laminated, rather than double-glazed. :geek:

You learn something new every day and today I've learned that some cars (what cars) have double glazing. The next thing I need to learn is why - why on God's earth would anyone want to have double glazing in a car?

I don't recall seeing double glazing as an optional extra and I presume that it would have a been an 'extra' rather than standard, in fact I don't recall ever seeing double glazing offered as an extra or as standard on any car ever.
