Not an issue for a small minority, most however will initially treat the “ left” pedal like a clutch!

With the move from a torque converter traditional auto gearbox with creep to a pdk/dsg on the Macan I was expecting more "staccato" manoeuvring than previous but have actually found it quite smooth even going over the ridges in an out of my garage. I just wish the parking sensors were slightly less sensitive. I rely more on the surround camera than the sensors.

It might be worth trying the off road button. I know you shouldn’t have to but I have used it up my steep drive in winter and the accelerator seems more forgiving.

Thanks to all who contributed. All suggested options seem to make the situation a bit better so thanks for those. :D

Go for the old fashioned fix and put a mark/line on the garage wall to line up your wing mirrors with...ignore the sensors and head for the line knowing that the mark will always be 6" (or whatever) short of the wall and leave you parked in the correct place every time.

I must say I'm still a bit puzzled by the OP's issue. Both my cars will creep on a closed throttle on the level garage floor so I only need the brakes to control them. The 911 goes in forwards up to a chock which stops me crashing into the bench, hopefully, while the Macan is reversed in up to a marker on the floor that I can see using the reverse camera.

I have a similar issue to the OP. My driveway is on a slight slope and the bins are at the top of it. When I try edging up the last couple of feet the car judders and stops, almost like it has emergency brakes. And then when I try to edge up again the car just rocks forwards and backwards but will not move without a big jerk.
I will try some of the suggestions on here.
