I assume you mean, in traffic queues, or when close to a verge or curb? If so then no, they all do that and you can only live with it or switch it off.

I have written to Porsche about the over sensitive sensors/faulty will post reply if I get one

Hi PererC, any response from Porsche regarding faulty parking sensors. I have similar problem front right keeps coming on for no reason, very annoying.
I would be interested to know what Porsche say, my car is just over three years old and just out of warranty.
