Don’t understand
New Macan Out in 2021
No it wouldn't. More like 30-40 mins max. IME with a Tesla and they are getting quicker.
It's more of a problem with the Leaf battery (well documented) than an inherent problem with all electric cars. Tesla batteries have proven to be very robust, typically losing only around 5-10% capacity over 100k miles and <15% over 150k miles. Plus they are getting more reliable as the chemistry and battery management evolves, so newer Teslas will lose even less. Some data here and also highlights the Leaf battery issue:-

So if I have a range of 250 miles when new, I can expect a range of at least 225 miles at 100k miles and 212 miles at 150k miles. I find that quite acceptable. Would be great if there was zero loss, but that's probably being unrealistic. Nissan batteries losing half their capacity is obviously the other extreme. My own car (Tesla X) is coming up to 30k miles with no significant loss of capacity.
