My Macan needs a new front lower panel following damage caused (not by me) in a car park. I am unable to get to the dealer for an estimate for at least a week so was wondering if anyone had an idea of replacement cost. There appears to be no metal frame distortion or fog light damage. I do have the sports design gloss black finish which will no doubt increase the cost

Thanks for that Charles. One slat on piece 10 is broken, piece 1 has a large indentation and scratch and piece 5 (on the driver's side) is completely smashed.

It is looking expensive to dismantle and replace

I could look up some prices, but yes, it will be expensive.

Mid Sussex Porsche do not do bodywork so I took the car to a local body workshop. Parts are £2,600, paint is £110 and labour £300. Some of it is my fault as I went for the sports design bumper but even so a very expensive car park prang

Little wonder why cars are stolen to be broken up for parts.

Tell him about my 997 turbo wing mirror glass that some twat nicked (just the glass)

It made more sense when my Indy told me £800 for the two pieces of glass ex labour
