Porsche Experience Silverstone - driving license

I had booked an afternoon experience.
We arrived at midday, checked in at reception, sorted out the license stuff and explained how we’re really looking forward to experiencing the Macan S but really really wanted to drive a 911! Charlotte at the reception desk was more than happy to make arrangements!

Lunch was served at 12:30pm - 01:30pm
The food was exceptional as was the service. Our instructor for the day, joined us for lunch, made sure we ate well and discussed the plan for the afternoon.

In his words “there are no itineraries, we do what you want”

1:30pm - 2pm safety briefing.

2-4:30pm driving split between my and my wife.

In all we had just over half hour in each vehicle.

Macan S First, we took it round the track got a feel for normal mode, sports and sports plus. As a porsche newbie i had lots of questions about pasm and air and the differences etc, ben our instructor was very knowledgable (or a great blagger).
Onto the straights, we did launch control and emergency breaking. Then onto the skid plates, ice hill, and the main track.

In the 911 i spent most of my time throwing it round the track and convinced ben to let me do some donuts!!

The best way to do it, is get around the all the areas quickly and the. You can return and spend the time on the areas you really want to.

Avoid sitting in the car and talking, instead get in the car and get driving make the most of the track time

And it is pretty u believable when you launch control a Macan S get 80mph and come back to a stop in under 10seconds!

But the most fun I had was going nuts in the 911.

That yellow 992 has been there for ages
Imagine how many bums have sat in those seats, somebody should ask for heavy discount for that reason and the fact it is yellow!
