Will be interesting to read if any other of the journos think differently. I’m happy with my S but it could do with a little more in the acceleration department

Yes, I noticed this too. Someone's budget must have had a use by date!

More than happy with acceleration etc on my S 2, more than enough for the UK toads and that's for sure.Just miss the pulling power and economy of the good old TD I ran for four years, Do sometimes wish i had kept it. Only covered 28k in four years!

Not sure how they got to £100k?? For a start, they've got the basic price of £62540 wrong - it's £68530...and that comes as standard with 18 way seats, the carbide coated brakes...

Maybe a challenge for those on here - see if they can spec the car at £100k - I couldn't....

Challenge accepted!

So far I've got to £104.358 and I haven't got to the bottoms of the options list

The code is PLYB55S6

It's quite easy when you start ticking the daft stuff like sun visors in leather.

Seen these? 405BHP would be a big jump!

Had a couple of these boxes from these guys before. They're well established.

Also, Did anyone else see this line in the article?

"while in terms of raw outright pace the Turbo doesn’t have as decisive performance advantage over the S as you’d hope."

Anyway, for me, i bought the S because i didn't want to stretch my budget to 80k. (My S came in at 63.5k) But had i wanted to spend that amount of money i'd have actually bought the GLC 63S over the Macan Turbo!
