Hi,
Now the weather is changing I've been using the heated steering wheel (and seats).
The wheel seems to heat up after a couple of minutes to a nice warm feel then slowly cools down to a luke warm feel to the point that I wonder if its still on ... is this normal ? It almost feels like its getting to a temp point then switching off.
Seats are great they stay nice and warm..

Mine stays warm throughout. Great with the roof off. On the 718 obviously!

I suffer the opposite with mine. It warms up and then just keeps getting hotter. So much so that I have to turn it off, as it's too hot to hold.
I have a wood rim steering wheel, I wonder if that has a bearing on it.

That's normal. I've always thought that it works alongside the ambient temperature of the cabin, so as the cabin gets warmer it seems to be not so hot. I've also had occasions when the heated seats have turned themselves off if I've had them on a long while.

Ours does the same in both Macan and 992, we have both commented on it

Probably an element of your hands adjusting to it too

I looked at retro fitting a heated wheel. I think they are made in Latvia as there are plenty on the net for £800-950. This weekend, I spent £50 on a pair of leather gloves.
Dolomite Silver 'S' with red leather 14 way seats, Pano roof, Bose, Air suspension with pasm, Chrono pack, PDLS, Surround view, 911 turbo wheels, heated screen, spare wheel, ioniser,75 lt tank, black tail pipes, black roof rails.
