I can confirm that Porsche are looking to do deals that includes money off for cars before Xmas. There must have been about 10 Macan turbos including the the demo cars in stock. Can’t justify £70 to £80k on a family mid size SUV so will stick with the 2.0 Macan we have for now
I was there for a 9am test drive. I also drove the black car. It was fantastic. I left around 10:45.
I got there at 10.45, we must have literally passed in the car park. I was in my Cayman today

As much as dark colours are popular, I just find the grey turbo looks so depressing next to the others. The crayon looks great in these pictures but don't think I'm brave enough. I do wish Porsche had a few more colours to choose from in the Macan line-up.

I have seen a couple of crayon cars in the flesh lately and must say the colour is growing on me especially on a SUV

I assume, maybe incorrectly, that Porsche works out what colours suit a particular car and market. So, even money no object, I'd worry a bespoke colour would end up looking naff on the car! I've wondered if a colour half-way between silver and volcano grey would be nice. To me, it's a big jump from very light to very dark.
