Holly went in to East London Porsche for the 111 point check so that I can extend the Warranty. This is what they gave me as a service car...

Lovely, I was given a manual 718 GTS as a loaner earlier this year. That was also very nice

I had a black Cayman GTS when my Macan was last in for service. Really disliked it and was glad for them to take it back to be honest.

What was the excess quoted on it?

Urgh...

Just been advised that Holly needs a replacement Transfer Box. Also have a drainage duct blockage. Ker-ching!

FIO, quoted £250 on the duct clearance and quoted £350 for replacement tyres (if I want them) - they have 4mm left... (85% worn)

Thankfully, I get to keep the Cayman for a few more days... fingers crossed for a good-weather weekend!

Brand new tyres generally have 8mm of tread; so at 4mm = 50% worn. Minimum legal limit is 1.6mm across 3/4 of the tread. So it could be said yours are 62.5% worn.

On high performance cars 3mm minimum is optimal. Even so, yours are then 80% worn currently.
