Many congrats! :)

Exactly! :)

My comment was tongue in cheek, having bought four Porsches in just over two years. ;)

The safety recall was regarding a message on the dash relating to brake pad wear. The recall letter said it was for Cayenne and Panamera models. It’s something to do with the message only displaying under certain conditions and not simply when the pads are thin. The recall requires a software change and you are advised that it will take between 1-2 hours to do.

Why did I change the car ... I hated the black ! The car was new from the dealer but already spec’d so I had no say in the matter. I thought that I could live with the black but in reality I couldn’t. Plus the old car did not have air suspension and I started to feel that the ride was not as smooth as it could be.

So the new one has (compared to the old one) air suspension, grey paint (my favourite), auto mirrors, tinted headlight covers, tinted rear logos, black exhaust tips (not my favourite).

So far, it’s fantastic.
So when is this ‘old enough to know better’ supposed to kick in ?

Cayenne S - Aug 2019 to Mar 2022

I was lust looking at my signature. I’ve had three Porsche’s in the time I have had one bike. Perhaps I should have bought a BMW car - no !

Sounds like we've got the same problem along with others. Maybe we need to form a self help group, My names Miopyk and I'm a serial Porsche buyer.
