Rear view camera

Hi,
I am suffering with the rear view camera being almost unusable in the current weather the water and muck just seems to stick to it ! To the point I am cleaning it everytime I get in. Does anyone else suffer with this on a facelift '?

Same on the early version and indeed, our Mini Clubman. Rendered pointless in this weather.

And the reversing light is tiny and hopeless too!

Agreed,especially ,since the winter tyres went on the back of the car gets filthy very quickly

One thing I noticed about my new Cayenne is a rear camera cleaning jet. Sounds very useful.

I have facelift S, If rear camera view blurred, I just operate the rear washer and that squirts camera and clear view appears.

My understanding the washer jet to the camera was added at facelift.

Thanks pmg ,I wondered what that protusion was when I cleaned with my finger.Now I know !

I will be probably be sent to Coventry on the forum for this. But there is the odd advantage of a new S over pre-facelift GTS!!!
