Took the car into Porsche Brooklands today for an MOT and 111 point check for the 2 year warranty extension. It passed the MOT fine, and almost passed the 111 point check but failed when they removed the undertray and spotted a small oil leak from the timing belt cover. So they couldn't issue the warranty extension today but the repair will be done next week under warranty so no drama and great that Brooklands spotted it.
I do really recommend Porsche Brooklands if you are in the South East. I have nothing against Guildford and happen to know the DP, but as Brooklands is a franchise that only does used and servicing they do seem to put all their efforts into it.
My car failed its 111 point check!

We always used to say that it was the sales dept who sold the first car to a customer and the service dept who sold all the subsequent cars! Sounds like Brooklands have the same idea

I took it out on my previous Macan S 18 months ago and it was ÂŁ1400 or so for the warranty and a further ÂŁ265 for the 111 point check. At the time thought it also included Porsche Assist (AA type cover) but then found out that this was extra as well. Perhaps no the cheapest extended warranty but at the time took it for peace of mind, a gearbox problem or something similar out of warranty would have been considerably more. Believe there are actually third party warranties out there which can give a significant saving but you have to decide yourself which way you want to go.
I live 5 miles from Brooklands and didn’t know there was a dealer there, I have always used Guildford. In fact I had the 111 point check in October and they found an oil leak on the gearbox, two weeks later I had my car back with 2 years warranty. Top marks to Guildford.

Hi - you probably live close to me then!
Brooklands is an OPC but is service and used only. It is owned by an independent.

Might give them a try actually, I am in Wandsworth so closest OPC is Chiswick but its such a ball-ache getting through Putney/Fulham to the A4 it may be easier to shoot down the A3CharlesElliott wrote: ↑Thu Jan 02, 2020 7:29 pm I do really recommend Porsche Brooklands if you are in the South East.
