OPCs vary - my OPC (Bolton) come very close, usually about 20 quid more per tyre than BCs and I'd rather use them than KwikFit.

OPC Tonbridge were very competitive when I needed four tyres on my (previously owned) GT3 . They were also very good at 'finding' warranty work ;)

I've always used Black Circles. Usually around £225 a corner fitted for my 21" Pirelli P Zeros. I wouldn't even bother asking Hatfield OPC for a price, considering they always bend me over for servicing.

South London OPC matched blackcircles' price for 2 tyres on my Cayman a few months back after quoting the same price for 1 as I could get 2 for!

I’m happy to use BC but worried in case some garage damages my wheels, they’re immaculate and I don’t fancy refurbing them - even if someone else is paying.

Swindon pretty much price matched 2 rears on my 911 GTS bar about £20 for fitting which is well worth it with centre locks. Seems to be very variable between OPCs

Who do you speak to when u ask for a price match? Service advisor usually? When I asked him he told me they don’t even buy the tyres in for the fitted price I was getting from BC.. don’t believe that for a second. Worth asking for service manager?

Most of my negotiation is done via email. I send an email to the guy who seems to book the servicing appointments for all four Dick Lovett OPCs. He then liaises with other relevant staff, including I presume, the Parts Manager.

should we all follow roadrunner 996 example, and go to Tonbridge "They were also very good at 'finding' warranty work" looks a good deal
