Hi There,
New member here, just picking up next week s/h Macan S Petrol from OPC , my question is am i out of order expecting the OPC to update the maps on sat nav to the very latest version? the car was reg 25-11-2017

My take on it is why buy a £40K car with out of date maps? i am still waiting for an answer to my request from OPC.

I will introduce myself with pics when i get the car.

When I bought mine new I was told, after doing a lot of enquiring, that I was entitled to three free updates during the warranty period. That came from Porsche GB. I asked my sales advisor to write that into the sales contract, which he was happy to do. I think doing that helped considerably in getting, finally, two updates done. As you may have read elsewhere on here, the OPCs seem to be very reluctant to do free updates since it costs them and of course normally it’s a chargeable service. You’ll be very lucky I think if you can persuade the dealer to update the maps, you can but ask. Good luck!

Except that mine still says 2017/18! 🤯

But good luck in your efforts to discover what and what is not available.

Its been so frustrating, that i gave up asking and decided to get a wireless carplay device and use Waze / Google map. Its so much more accurate and better. Hence - whats the difference between any upgraded version vs my current version. Everything works without a blip so let it be...

Maybe will ask again at a different OPC when i have to service the car in 2021 - in the meantime, Carplay is great for me to use for Sat Nav, and then i use the Car's Media just for DAB and Jukebox!
